Handed down since the 1300s
Orpheus & Theseus is a new organization, at least online. Offline, it has been operated as a system handed down for generations since the 1300s, with a bloodline carrying the flame of knowledge.
The line
A bloodline carrying the flame
For roughly seven centuries the knowledge has passed from one generation of the line to the next, offline and out of public view. This site is the first time it has operated online.
Orpheus & Theseus has one consultant: the present keeper of the line, who came to it through years of training and hardship and now has access to every layer of this world. The consultant works without a public name. You come to know the consultant through the consultation itself.

What we will not do
Any subject can be brought to a consultation. These limits hold for every one of them.
- We will not help you kill.
- We will not help you steal, unless it is something that rightfully belongs to you.
- We will not coach you in the ways of this work.
Every client is also bound by the golden rule: you may not ask for specifics on how this world works.
The name
Orpheus & Theseus
Theseus entered the labyrinth at Knossos, reached its center and found his way back out by following Ariadne's thread.
The firm is named in honor of these two, the guides who led the consultant into the depths of this world and toward the key to how everything works.
